If we have the audacity to want to have a life that is in the 1% we have to not only know the cost, but be willing to pay the price.
There are so many things that can distract us from our true potential. But if we can find the things that light a fire of passion, the things that have nothing to do with logic or reason, the things that need no external validation, we can and will reach heights that we didn't even know existed.
I think about this quote,
"It is better to walk or even crawl, alone, in the right direction than to just go along aimlessly with the herd." Not to deny the value of companionship but to point out that we have a choice in who we surround ourselves with.
Like Jim Carrey says "Our need for acceptance can make us invisible" Wanting to be accepted isn't even a matter of right or wrong. It's the "Need" that could use a second look.
The acorn will never wish that it is a oak tree. It already has everything that it needs inside. And I just want anyone who stumbles across this to know
