I lived in a homeless shelter with no car for the first year of my recovery.
It wasn't awesome.
But I was not victim of circumstance.
I was the responsible for my situation. The choices that I had made up till that point of my life had put me right there where my feet were.
My little brother told me once, "This world would be a much better place if we could rid ourselves of the idea that we are victims of circumstance, and focused more on becoming creators of circumstance."
I've had to literally start putting one foot in front of the other and accept that I am a creator of my own circumstance.
Today, if I feel like taking a trip to San Diego, I take a trip to San Diego.
I never could have made it this far with out the love and support of people that believe in me. People that have helped me evolve.
